Introduction

This process will take about 7 minutes and there are two (2) steps:

  • Account Sign Up
  • Account Funding

You will need the following items:

  • Your driver's license or state-issued ID
  • Your Social Security Number
  • Your checking or savings account information to fund the account
  • Your previous home address (if less than 2 years at current residence)
  • All applicants must be at least 18 years of age and must be U.S. citizens to apply. Minors, resident aliens, and non-resident aliens may apply by contacting the financial institution. For your protection, the system will automatically log you off if there is no activity for 1 hour.
  • Do not use your browser's BACK or FORWARD buttons when using this online application. Doing so may cause unexpected results.

Eligibility 

To be eligible for membership at Southwest Louisiana Credit Union, you must be an immediate family member of an existing member, or are an employee of a SWLACU Select Employee Group (SEG). You will also be required to open a primary savings account with a minimum of $25.00.


To open your Membership Account, we will need two forms of identification, two primaries (ex. Drivers License, Passport, TWIC Card, US Government or Military ID, Alien Registration Card) or one primary and one secondary (Social Security Card, Birth Certificate, TWIC Card, Voters Registration, Utility Bill).


Immediate family members are defined as the following: spouses, children, siblings, parents, grandparents, grandchildren, step parents, step children, step siblings and adoptive relationships.
